Communities and organizations grow by creating space for others, encouraging them to share their voice, their ideas, and their perspective. An identity built around a collective ensures a group isn’t reliant on any one individual, allowing it to better adapt and grow to serve the community.

Our summer 2023 stories feature a community organization with a mission shaped by the community that regularly utilizes its services, an environmental activist group that inspired artists to come to their aid, and a rural arts organization trying to reach a new generation.
