This winter issue we bring you two stories that are all about making visible the discrimination people choose not to see. Our first story features a new non-profit in Chisholm, MN, trying to combat systemic issues of racism and discrimination that exist in the Iron Range through events, rallies, and simply engaging neighbors in conversation. They’re trying to change minds and get everyone to feel a part of the community. And our second story is an introduction to The Arc Minnesota featuring stories from real people discussing the discrimination they face both because of their race and their disabilities. Their words highlight how The Arc helps fight on their behalf and protect the rights and dignities of all.
